do you ever feel like you don’t want to take your meds?

My brain eventually figured out how to tune all that out (I dissociate heavily, it was definitely a trauma response to some other things in my life) and the problem is, I tuned EVERYTHING out. I couldn't "see" anything. Tasks, problems, dates, were all invisible to me. Meds helped me "tune in" again and get my executive function back.

i resonate with this a lot actually - at some point in my life i ended up somehow turning off my anxious thinking and not caring so much to the point that i now forget everything and often don’t really think about anything lol. so now when i take meds it helps me get some of those thoughts back but sometimes it gets exhausting cus im so used to being head empty lol
