Do yall get diminished or basically nitpicked by your narc

I’m a photographer of 6 years and I’m 21 and I did a photography job for my narc parent. My narc basically nitpicked about how my pics aren’t up to their standards and threw around buzzwords and how my pics are “good practice shots for photography”

Am I just sensitive?

This was kinda of a small event nothing major like in the past but this felt very condescending to me.
