New player looking to play online.

Hi guys. I'm a 26M based in the UK. I started playing pz a bit single-player. I love the game, but felt pretty lonely. I am looking for people to play with/servers to join, but am intimidated by the server list and was wondering if anyone else is looking for people to join their server. I'd love any recommendations!
