Speed help

I’m sure we’re all getting tired of seeing Dri-Tri posts, but I’ve been debating a little on what my speed should be.

I run 5/6.5/9-11 (i know i should increase my base, and my plan was to start that yesterday but there were no bases lol).

i ran the mile in 7:34, started at 7.5 and increased .2 every lap around the track. and did the last half of the track as a 10 sprint

in class, i usually average anywhere from 1.5-2.5 miles depending on what the workout is, so running the 3.1 miles isn’t what scares me. i’m scared of being the last one on the tread. i’ve read in all the posts to not focus on what other people are doing, but as someone with anxiety, it’s really hard.

my plan is to start at 7.5 and bump up (.2 or so) every mile (or really see how i feel and bump up/decrease from there). i would love to hear other peoples plan of attack, especially if you’re in a similar speed as me!
