What are your thoughts on Idol worshippers?

Im an Idol worshipper (Buddhist) , and when I proclaim as one to a couple Muslim, they are so disrespectful, however Im also getting mixed reaction as some Muslims are chill with having a Buddhist friend, or is pretty nice to me. This got me wondering, What are the general thoughts on Idol Worshippers. Do you respect them, or beleive they should or will go to Hell? I wont get offended at your answers.
