I’m really sick of the in-game mobile ads

Idk if it’s only my experience, but I’ve started seeing more and more ads, both as a part of the games I’m playing and outside of them. It’s not that I hate the ones outside of the games because I’ve found so many titles that way, but the in game ones are killing me. I feel like I can’t have more than a minute of playtime without it being interrupted by another one invasive ad. Yeah, monetization is important, but this is starting to get REALLY out of hand.

I’m starting to appreciate the B2P games like Stardew Valley, Mini Metro, Pocket City, etc. because they offer quality without intrusive ads for only a few bucks. I’m also very fond of F2P ad free games, but I’ve played only a few of them, and even less that remained that way. Some great examples are Pop Them and Vampire Survivors, two games that are still a joy to play and don’t bombard you with countless spammy videos that you can’t even close properly.

Again, I do understand the need to monetize a free game through ads, keep it updated, alive, and make money, but putting too many of them ruins the experience so much.
