Finally got my Penguins FAP back from Pro Knitwear today

I dropped this off back in November, and got the call today that the jersey was done. It’s 52, and when comparing it to the Adidas MiCs, it’s a 54, it’s a comfortable fit. The biggest difference I see is that the FAPs are a lot more rigid than the Adidas MiCs. This jersey feels tighter around the shoulders. The Adidas MiCs are a lot looser fitting. The sleeves are a little bit longer, but that’s minor. Overall, the FAPs remind me of the Edge 2.0 cut.

Now the one gripe I do have is that the Penguins won’t allow Pro Knitwear to stitch the embroidered Highmark logo on it because they say it’ll confuse people into believing that it’s a game worn jersey. I blame the individual running Penguins Authentics for this. I’m pretty sure other teams allow their sponsor patch on custom jerseys. I believe Philly Express does it for the Flyers. I won’t use a sewn on patch that has the Highmark logo on it as that’s not accurate.
