Anyone here noticed lately google results got worse?

I didn't use DDG much because often Google gave the best results. the first time I noticed google got worse when they introduced "smart" prediction many years ago. but at the time still I had no choice got some ok results compared to rivals. but of late, I guess with the introduction of AI. it's now much worse. I had several queries that even returned nothing. I tried DDG and got the results I wanted.

I'm programmer and in the course of development and debugging I need to go deep in search sometimes.

Google was top of my bookmark bar. today I downgraded below bing and next to my rarely used shortcuts.
