List of Yandere Males in Movies/Shows/Dramas

Already commented this list on a post but thought I'd post it properly, had this list saved for a while now so why not share! [Most of these are thriller movies/drama shows so not really any proper romantic stuff, I'd search for anime/manga/Manwha if you wanna find Yandere Romaticized, personally I enjoy the scary ones as well as romantic!)

I have made a list of Movies/Shows that include a male yandere {mostly male lead} and it is a bit long so have fun watching (I'll write down some of my opinions as well):

Only Mine (Movie)

Hippopotamus (Movie)

Dark Desire [Original Title: Oscuro Deseo] (Spanish Show): I really like the yandere in this one but only in the first season to be fair, there were some moments where I was really surprised at how well they portray his obsession

The paramedic [O.T.: El Practicante] (Spanish Movie)

Age of Youth/Hello, my twenties S1 (K-Drama): Yandere here is a side character and the characteristics appear near the end of the show, also more on the abusive Yandere side

Find me in your memory (K-Drama): Also a side character, nearing the middle/end of the show is where the yandere comes in

Fishbowl wives [O.T.:Kingyotsuma] (J-Drama): This one's a bit tricky since he is really abusive, but l still label him a yandere because he shows some kind of obsession towards his wife the end of the whole show. If you watch the show you'll already meet him in episode one, easy to see

°°° Flower of Evil (K-Drama): A REALLY GOOD K-DRAMA, male lead is apparently !not! really Yandere but since I believe that the Drama is good I'll still keep it in heh °°°

Door Lock (Korean Movie)

Homeroom (Japanese Show/J-Drama): Tbh it's really weird but the opening and ending songs are really good

The Phantom of the Opera (Movie or, well, an Opera): I mean I watched the movie and the Opera and the Phantom is Obsessed with Christine (female lead) even the songs that he sings are a bit Yandere-ish so yup I'd count this as well

The Resident (Movie): A bit odd as well but really Obsessed with female lead

Shut in (Movie): This yandere is a bit unexpected, I had a "wait what" moment

Better watch out (movie): Okay so yandere here isn't hard to figure out really odd that somebody came up with an idea like this for a movie but I'd definitely watch!

Fear (1996) (Movie)

Prom Night (Movie)

Secret Obsession (Movie): To be fair this one sucks but it does count into Yandere I think so, i'm counting it in

The invisible Man (Movie): Interesting movie! Nice concept as well

The Boy (Movie): I mean it's actually a horror movie I guess but nearing the end there is some really weird Obsession stuff going on that I'll count in as well

The Perfect Guy (Movie)

You (Show): On Netflix, I enjoyed it overall to be fair but since users said it isn't really "Yandere" but more Obsessed/Infatuated it's not really too Yandere, (ALSO keep in mind in each season he changes his person of interest/obsession, which was the only thing I personally I didn't really enjoy)

Berlin Syndrom (Show): I didn't really like it a ton maybe because I understand the german language but the male lead is a Yandere (a bit too dramatic for me)

Hush (Movie): So there is a guy that says some stuff {yes in a movie where the protagonist cannot hear} but I'd count it as yandere, at least a bit

Broken Vows (Movie): I think it was not really good, basically would not watch it again, lol

Heartthrob (Movie)

Indiscretion (Movie): Didn't enjoy it a lot as well

The Boy next door (Movie): Pretty good!

Valentine (2001) (Movie): Really interesting, plot twist is good

Control Z (Show) [recommended by u/chickenayam04]: Will watch soon, I'll update when I have!

And yeah that's all I have for now, Have fun watching!
