Never forget where we came from.

The crop of candidates in the mix to be the next HC, in theory, should be better than what we have had. In the past we couldn't get a sniff from the best available talent. It would seem we have made some headway in that department. I attribute this in part to the emergence of BTJ and the still-high prospects of Trevor. I still think Baalke is a snake, but Khan keeping him in the building seems more about not blowing up the structure in the building. If rumors are true Baalke would take a different role in the front office and let the new HC decide who "picks the groceries" as the new GM, we may land a winner. But if this franchise has taught me one thing, it's to never have optimism. Until they complete a season healthy and looking like a top-tier team, any off-season excitement should be tempered and taken with a "prove it on Sundays" attitude. DTWD. And Lord knows this team tries to destroy us annually.
