How can Blake explain the movie theft?

I just read through the THR article. Genuinely curious, how could Blake explain stealing the movie from a production company that owned the rights? Let’s put all the other allegations aside, how can she reasonably argue that she didn’t extort him for creative control of the film?

Is her argument that he gave her the rights/role as director? I’m just confused. Attached are the relevant paragraphs where she says Justin should have complimented her and given her more credit for stealing the movie. I need someone to explain how she could actually argue these claims.
