My team is bad help

Why does ever have an elite team or at least an elite player while i have a shit team that is either sbc players or evos. I dont even have coins to upgrade as i dont pack anything of value. The most expensive tradeable player i packed this year was fb jackson worth 30k.does anyone have an idea of how can I improve my team or how to get coins in order to do so.
