Behaviour Cat pawing at the floor after eating

Hey, I’ve noticed recently my cat will paw at the floor like he’s trying to cover his poop after he eats. I can’t remember if he used to do this or if it’s a new thing I’ve just noticed, but I just wondered what the purpose is?
