40th anniversary g1 megatron extra pieces?

hello! i got my g1 megatron and built him over the weekend. however, i had these pieces left over. i can’t find ANY use for them. i double and tripled checked. i had my dad look it over. nothing. does anyone know what they’re for? or have the same issue?
